Facing The Giants
If you love God, if you love football and if you really need a dose of faith Facing The Giants is the movie to rent! I saw it a few weeks back at church. As a fan of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, I have to say for a fully volunteered cast the actors in FACING THE GIANTS were phenomenal.
The movie is based around coach Taylor who is pretty much the biggest loser when it comes to life. His football team hasn’t had a winning season in six years, their star player goes to another team, the high school is trying to take his job away from him, he’s driving a real clunker and if that’s not bad enough he and his wife can’t seem to conceive a child.
Outside of the coach we have David who I like to call the weakest link. He’s a soccer player that’s lacking in faith when he joins the football team as a backup kicker. There’s another kid who has a whole bunch of attitude, but in the end that works to his advantage.
If the movie doesn’t move you, THE FACING THE GIANTS Soundtrack will!
It’s loaded with Casting Crowns, Score, Bebo Nordman, Josh Bates, Mark Willard, and Ana Laura.

It’s a film that will make you laugh, cry and feel.
Must see!
