Don't Be A Meddler

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
Proverbs 17:9

It's so tempting to wave someone's shortcomings in their face when you're angry.
It's like your brain goes into overdrive to find some ammunition to chop that person down as far as you can, but is that godly?

The above scripture tells us that when we cover a transgression we seek love, but when we repeat a matter we separate friends.

Friend, don't get so caught up in your anger that you rip into someone with their past mistakes. If you have to argue stay focused on the problem at hand. The situation that caused the discussion in the first place.

It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
Proverbs 20:3

Listen and look for a solution.
Ask God how to handle the situation don't get caught up in strife.
