Finding The Joy
1-28-08

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Psalm 51:12

Sometimes we go through so much we lose that joy in our salvation. We focus on the situations and circumstances that seem to be ruling our lives. The ones that take our joy and causes us to give up the fight.
The above scripture is one that you and I should pray when we get into that desert place.
We should ask the Lord to restore to us that joy we found in our salvation – his saving delivering power. Reflect on where God has brought us from and delivered us out of.
Ask Him to give us the spirit that fights the good fight of faith even when we don't feel like it.

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Psalm 20:6

God is faithful. I know I say that a lot, but I need to remember it and I think many of you do too. He's not letting us go through alone. He isn't going to let us fail either.
Friend, wherever you are know that God is with you. That he hears you and he has already made a way out of no way.
