JEN G'S MUSIC VIEW ON CONRAD

When I first heard “Gotta Have More” I was so sold on Million Pieces! Conrad’s high energy and edgy sound on Million Pieces appeals to a variety of audiences. Christian or non-Christian you can give this album to anyone and they’ll love it.
Conrad’s heart and spirit comes through!
His no-nonsense lyrics grips your soul because his message is clear. Sometimes we go through things that rips us into a million pieces only to bring us to that place where God wants us to be.
Sometimes we are so strong willed that we leave God behind, move forward on our own until something happens that causes us to need him once more.
I love Million Pieces because we all reach that place in life and our hunger for God is really what brings us back into his will. I believe Conrad’s heart is as evident in his lyrics as it is in this interview.
He’s been broken, but God is building him up through his music and taking him to a place where his brokenness can be healing to others.

AWOE MAGAZINE INTERVIEWS CONRAD

JEN G: Does your album ‘Million Pieces’ describe your life in any way?

Conrad: The song "Million Pieces" came at a time when God was showing me that when He tears down walls in your life-it is not to cause you pain, but to put you back together again, the way that He intends you to be! And sometimes it takes Him breaking us into a million pieces.

JEN G: What is ‘Gotta Have More’ all about?

Conrad: This song is all about wanting more and not settling for comfort. Verse two says it all when it says "I don't want to be comfy-Come on in and stir me up". That is how I want to live my life-a stirring of my spirit.

JEN G: Where did you shoot your album cover?

Corad: My wife, Emily actually took the photo. It was taken in a random field in central Florida.

JEN G: How did you become a Christian?

Conrad: I have been in church all my life, but it wasn't until I was about 17 when I truly started living for Christ with all of my heart.

“ There are too many posers out there saying one
thing and living another.”

JEN G: What has been your greatest challenge spiritually in the music industry?

Conrad: Well I am still pretty new at this whole "music industry", but what experience that I do have has not been great-especially in the Christian music industry. There are too many posers out there (record labels, bands, singers, musicians) saying one thing and living another. This probably is the hardest challenge for me to witness, I just want to say to those that just want to be "rock stars" grow up and stop playing games!

JEN G: What does your family think about your music?

Corad: My family is so supportive of my music. They are always pushing me to excel in my music and ministry.

JEN G: Have you learned anything about who you are and who God is shaping you to be?

Conrad: Most definitely! I have definitely noticed a drastic growth just in the past year and a half. I am a work in progress and probably will never be satisfied where I am spiritually, but I give God all of the glory for my growth.

JEN G: How has God been your guide?

Conrad: Without God I am nothing. He is my Shepard and I shall not want! A lot of people do not understand the will of God on their lives, but I know that I am called to use my musical talents for Him. He leads me where He wants me to go in this musical journey.

JEN G: What should people know about your faith?

Conrad: You should know that God has His hand on my life and that without God I am nothing. He is my source of life and the only one I need. I gave my whole heart to God and all of my talents along with.
If you don't have Jesus in your heart and you’ve never accept Him as your personal Lord and savior then you cannot enter the kingdom.
