It’s About Living By Faith
In God’s Word
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:38
Don’t draw back.
In Christ we have to walk by faith because everything we believe is wrapped up in knowing in our hearts that Jesus died and arose again to save our souls from destruction. Our faith is based on our trust in God. Believing the word of God is as easy as believing in our salvation through Jesus Christ!
Our God is faithful.
Just open up the Bible and you can see the power of his love.
We can’t be defeated when we walk by faith because with faith all things are possible in Christ. In Mark 11:22 Jesus told Peter to have faith in God, that’s all required of us.
By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
Hebrews 11:29
The above verse talks about the Children of Israel when they were led out of Egypt. The coolest thing about this account is the Egyptians were behind them and the Red Sea was in front of them. They had no where to go, but God made a way out of no way!
Friend I believe God is making a way out of no way for you today, but you can’t look at your circumstances. You can’t say opposite of the word of God, but you have to keep the words in your heart alive on your lips!
You have to confess what the word says and stand regardless of what things look like!
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Romans 4:20
Abraham had no reason to believe after nearly a hundred years that he and Sarah were capable of having a child, but he believed! He not only believed, but he gave glory to God for the promise! He praised God even though he couldn’t see it in the natural, yet he believed it in his heart! And the result was God’s promised fulfilled through Isaac!
Friend, God is faithful and just to do what he said he would do.
Don’t give into circumstances, don’t give into negative people and don’t get negative yourself. Find out what God promised you and take it to him everyday. If the Lord said it he will do it!
