AWOE ALBUM OF THE MONTH Beloved’s Wake The World redefines worship, as we know it because every song is motivational, inspiring, and empowering to the listener. The album opens with I Dare You, a song that encourages you to step out of yourself and to live again. With powerful vocals they sing, ‘Dare you to dance like there’s nobody watching…love like you’ll never get hurt…sing like there’s nobody listening…” It’s a song that challenges you to forget about the mental barriers that’s holding you back. AWOE MAGAZINE INTERVIEW EOWYN: Silent Screams
Jen G: Why do you believe we keep silent when we’re hurting?
Eowyn: I think we're scared of what others will think of us. I know a girl just wrote me last night on myspace and said that she was hurting so much inside, but she was afraid of what her family and friends would think of her if she told them. Then she said something so profound... "I've been trying to hide it from God too, and the truth is,He already knows!" Isn’t that so true! He does know when we're hurting and the beauty is He also cares!
Jen G: Why would you say it’s important to talk about what we’ve kept hidden that’s slowly eating away at us?
Eowyn: When we hide things, we are not only deceiving others, but we are deceiving ourselves. This deception brings even more pain and suffering than the original pain that was there in the first place. Eventually we end up putting up a false faced of who we really are and in the end, we don’t even know. When we begin to be honest with ourselves and others about how we really feel, than true healing or our hearts and minds can take place. Read Interview
AWOE ONSCREEN: WHEREVER YOU ARE
Wherever You Are is a touching 20-minute film by Max Lucado. It’s story about a girl named Katherine who has gone astray from her loving father. In her own pain she drifts into a lifestyle that is far from the one she grew up in, yet she’s afraid to return to because of the failures of her present. Wherever You Are is a short film that would be very powerful for churches, youth groups and outreaches anywhere because it wraps its arms around unconditional love and forgiveness. AWOE MAGAZINE EXCLUSIVE HIP-HOP SPOTLIGHT INTERVIEW This Month Meet NuSoul Generation's Members
Ivy's Story... I can’t say I grew up poor or lacking material things. I was very privileged in that aspect, however I did grow up without knowing my biological father. My stepfather and mother divorced when I was 13 and apparently he decided to divorce me too. My mother remarried too soon, and her new husband brought drugs into my house and basically held my mother captive with verbal abuse for about 10 years.

AWOE MAGAZINE INTERVIEW OVER ASHES INTERVIEW
JUSTIN D: When we see kids making commitments to follow the Lord at our shows or seeing them worshipping with us at a show, that blesses me, because I know that God is pleased with what we're doing.
Our album is one of the best selling albums for a new artist this year, and I think that’s because God is using us to minister to people and let them know that we're not rock stars, we're just like them, and you're not ok and we're not ok and that is ok because God loves us regardless of the mistakes that we have made.
