To me it signifies that Someone truly loves me. Loved me enough to die for me. I don't know anyone who loves me that much.
Your ministry:
I am one of the youth leaders at my church, Harvest fields Community Church. I am also very active in the drama ministry there as well.
Ezzy's Story... Born in El Salvador and raised in the Bronx. Her parents came to New York
City in the hopes of fulfilling the American dream. Raised in a Pentecostal
upbringing Ezzy was evolved in various church functions and activities. Two
of which were music and drama. During the beginning of her adolescence Ezzy
began to attend Church of the Revelation. She became an active participant
of the youth choir, "Rhythm & Praize" and the drama team "Street Wise
Players".
During her high school years Ezzy was also involved in the Assemblies of God
Competition, "The Fine Arts Festival". As a team member & competitor she was
able to win 1st & 2nd place in several group competitions from 1993 - 1998.
The groups were musical group ensemble, group mime, & drama group ensemble.
In 1999 she took a leave from her first love, God and the arts. She started
to date and in turn ended up living with a young man she met in her high
School. Turning away from all that she known. Ezzy gave up all of her
beliefs. Struggles with her family lead her to with hold contact with them
for two years. She became depressed and turned to other things to fulfill the void that was now in her heart.
The relationship she was in was her biggest weakness.
Not knowing how to let go of the situation, she settled in that relationship for 6 years. Remembering where she came from and what God had called her to do is what sparked her to get in contact with one of her church friends once again.
Still suffering with depression and the inability to let him go, Ezzy found her self at a cross roads.
Finally in 2006 Ezzy made a come back to her church Harvest Fields Community Church. She believes that God was the reason why she is back. She never let go of that relationship, God allowed for her now ex boy friend to do so. Ezzy is now an active member of NuSoul Generation. She is also an active member of two drama groups. "Street Wise Players" and "A.C.T.S." drama team. Ezzy has also been in several in house play productions playing self inspired and created characters.
In March 2006 she played "Kori" in the play "Were You There".
In December 2007, she played "Sophie" in the play "Miracles". She continues
to embrace her love for God and expresses it the best way she can. Through music and drama every time she has a chance.
