AWOE LIFE 31 DAYS OF CHANGE

Dear Friends,

When I was in my late teens we were going through some difficult times as a family in many areas of our life. I know for me personally, I had prayed and believed, but there was one area in my life I didn’t seem like I was getting a break through in. So what did I do?
I went on a full 40 day fast off of foods.
I just drank liquids, but no solids and my breakthrough came!

Now incase your thinking, I can't fast food for 40 days!
Don't worry, 31 Days of Change is about fasting things and attitudes.

Why 31 Days?
It’s a well-known fact that it takes 30 days to break any habit or addiction. I believe as Christians we each have a desire to put God first and to put our flesh last. Many times we do just the opposite because we don’t think about things, we just do whatever we want. Then when we have to deal with the consequences we’re miserable because we didn’t consider God in our choices.

However, in 31 Days of Change we will fast practical things and attitudes through the word and prayer. It will be on the forefront of our mind to take action in those areas that we’ve committed to fasting that day for. By the end of 31 Days of Change, I believe you will make it a lifestyle to consider God in your daily choices and attitudes.
