Put Some Action Behind Those Words

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:18

We talk about faith because as Christians it's the Christian thing to do, but do we truly believe it? I guess that's really only a question that only God and you know the answer to.
I have something coming up that I've prepared as well as I could have at this point for. Now it's just a matter of doing it. Put all that energy into action.
Are you putting any action behind your faith?
I mean not waiting and wishing, but taking the next step you believe God would want you to take?
While you chew on that for a minute I'd like to remind you of Peter when he stepped out on the water with Christ. He believed it was Jesus, but his actions backed up that belief as he stepped out on the water. Yeah, Peter fell in when he took his eyes off of Jesus, but they were on him long enough to step out. Peter had enough faith to go back to Christ even after he fell in.
My point is that once you step out on that faith, no matter how it looks or feels, Jesus is there to bring you through it.

Song: For the Moments I Feel Faint Artist: Relienk K Album: Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek Am I at the point of no improvement? What of the death I still dwell in? I try to excel but I feel no movement Can I be free of this unreleasable sin? Never underestimate my Jesus You're telling me that there's no hope I'm telling you, you're wrong Never underestimate my Jesus When the world around you crumbles He will be strong I throw up my hands "Oh, the impossibilties" Frustrated and tired, where do I go from here? Now I'm searching for the confidence I've lost so willingly Overcoming these obstacles is overcoming my fears I think I can't, I think I can't But, I think you can, I think you can I think I can't, I think I can't But, I think you can, I think you can Gather my insufficiencies and place them in Your hands Place them in Your hands Place them in Your hands

Be Blessed,
